Please note that all labour carried out by About Sound is covered by a 5 year warranty on a strict RTB (return to base) basis. This covers all wiring/connections/mounting relating to the installation.

Our product warranty period varies by brand, please just ask. We do not cover products that have been provided to us for installation, only the installation itself. The product will need to be returned to About Sound for assessment to determine if the fault is related to the product or the installation. If the faulty product was not supplied by About Sound you will be charged a labour fee for the removal and or re-installation.

About Sound will not be liable for the cost of assessment, removal or re installation resulting from defective products or installation issues.  If you do have a vehicle that cannot be returned to us, please contact us. We have excellent relationships with companies throughout NZ and we can recommend or even arrange someone to look at this for you to reduce your cost. About Sound will cover the return freight cost of any repaired or replaced product.

Our product warranty excludes products that have been repaired, interfered with or installed by an unauthorised person or company, or that have been misused or damaged.
